Keller Paulson EPK
Keller Paulson is a freelance percussionist/drum set artist and writer/composer from Casper, Wyoming, currently based in Billings, Montana. Paulson tours, records, and plays with the folk/soul group Satsang who's sophomore album, Pyramid(s) debuted at #1 on Billboard's Reggae Charts (released 3/20/2017). He has also become a notable recording/session artist for many musicians such as Chase Makai of Nahko and Medicine for the People, and Montana locals Parker Brown, Grant Jones, Alex Nauman, and Reid Perry.
Keller has had the opportunity to share the stage with such artists as John Fedchock, Paul Hanson, and Ingrid Jensen. Other notable artists that Paulson has played with include Ron Blake (trumpet), Ron Miles, Ken Walker, Nick Mancini, Caleb Quaye, Tim Snider and Chase Makai of Nahko and Medicine for the People, Matt Harris, Ben Markley, Matt Smiley, Wil Swindler, Peter Sommer, Annie Booth, Ryan Fourt, and many others. Paulson has also had the opportunity to open and share the stage with such groups and people as Michael Franti and Spearhead, Trevor Hall, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Third Coast Percussion Group, and Senator Bernie Sanders.
As a performer, Keller has played a wide variety of venues including Dazzle Jazz Club, Jannus Live, Carnegie Hall, and has performed as a featured soloist in the Northwest Jazz Festival in Powell, Wyoming. Paulson has performed and toured across the country playing in venues and festivals in over 25 states including Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, New York, California, and many more. As an educator, Paulson has conducted clinics at many middle schools and high schools, has been teaching private lessons since 2007, and is adjunct faculty at Sheridan College in Sheridan, WY.
